  2. http://store.steampowered.com/app/730/ I would imagine all of us that are on this forum have the game, but just in case you don't or you want to gift a copy to a friend. Also, this is an opportunity to see an influx of gamers coming to the game to check it out this weekend. I probably won't be able to be on tonight because of a banquet and concert back to back from 5pm-9:30pm, but I definitely plan on trying to populate the server this weekend. Let's do this and get the place jumping!

  4. Finally a player made one is released. It's a good map but I'm trying to convince him that he needs to create the navigation images and loading screen.   6. Still working on the betting mod. Having some issues and until the developer updates it and fixes for CS:GO we will have to wait. I've contacted him. Some issues I've found: -My server has max money set to 16, but if I win a bet that will give me over that I can have over 16k money. -If I bet then play a bot the bot wins/loses my money versus me. -If I bet all and lose it takes all my money, but then I still get money for losing the round after that.

  11. There is now an AFK Manager in place. It's moves AFK's to spec then kicks after a longer period of time. All admins are immune.
  12. Had a hell of a time trying to figure out how to make it so that sv_alltalk is off while you are alive but then when you die you can talk with anyone else that is dead (both teams). Finally got it figured out and it *should* be working on the OSG server. I assumed it would be handled by either sv_alltalk or sv_deadtalk server commands. Come to find out they don't have the function built in. It's handled by source mod sm_deadtalk. Here is how all 3 work. [b]sv_alltalk "[/b][b]0"[/b] Dead - Can hear everyone on their team but only talk to dead players on their team Living - Can only hear living players on their team. [b]sv_alltalk "1[/b][b]"[/b] Dead - Can hear everyone on both teams and can talk to anyone living or dead on both teams. Living - Can hear both dead and living players on both teams. [b]sv_deadtalk "0"[/b] Dead - Can hear everyone on their team but only talk to dead players on their team [b]sv_deadtalk "1"[/b] Dead - Can talk to the living in chat and voice of their own team. [b]sm_deadtalk = "0"[/b] Off [b]sm_deadtalk = "1"[/b] Dead - Can talk to only dead on either team [b]sm_deadtalk = "2"[/b] Dead - Can talk to living and dead players
  13. This plugin was made for CS:Source, but works with CS:GO as I just tested on our server. Download the 2 files from the 1st post: advertisements.smx advertisements.txt 2. Upload the advertisements.smx to /csgo/addons/sourcemod/plugins/ 3. Make any modifications to the advertisements you would like shown in the advertisements.txt file. 4. Upload advertisements.txt /csgo/addons/sourcemod/config/ 5. Restart your server You should now see your ads. There are different types of ways to display them, here is the legend: [b]Type[/b] This field can contain the following letters: C - A center message, like sm_csay. H - A hint message, like sm_hsay. M - A menu message, like sm_msay, but without the title or the Exit-option. 0 will still hide the message though. Will block 1-9 from switching weapons as long as it's showing. S - A chat message, like sm_say. It supports the following colors: {DEFAULT}, {TEAM}, {GREEN} and {LIGHTGREEN}. {TEAM} and {LIGHTGREEN} unfortunately don't work together in a single advertisement, so it's one or the other. For example: {GREEN}Current {LIGHTGREEN}Map: {DEFAULT}{CURRENTMAP} T A top-left message, like sm_tsay. It supports one of the following colors: {WHITE}, {RED}, {GREEN}, {BLUE}, {YELLOW}, {PURPLE}, {CYAN}, {ORANGE}, {PINK}, {OLIVE}, {LIME}, {VIOLET} and {LIGHTBLUE}. You can omit the color if you just want the normal color. For example to have an orange message, set text to: {ORANGE} Text here Multiple types per advertisement are allowed, so you can show a single advertisement in multiple places at the same time.
  14. This map looks pretty cool, not going to put it into the rotation, but it's out the server in case an admin wants to flip over to it. You start with a taser then if you run to the middle and hit "e" on the bar it will give you another taser.   15. Here are the optimum rate settings for the client side. The easiest way to set them so they will not change is by creating a Autoexec.cfg file. I've attach both 1 for a 60 tic server and for a 100 tic server. To make these work all you need to do is browse to: [CODE] C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg [/CODE] or wherever you installed Steam. Open up config.cfg and at the bottom of the file add: [CODE] exec autoexec.cfg [/CODE] Also make sure whichever file you download below you also put in the same directory as config.cfg. CS:GO 60 Tic Servers [attachment=2:autoexec.cfg] CS:GO 100 Tic Servers [attachment=3:autoexec.cfg]
  16. ManiMod finally started development for ManiMod on cs:go. Which admin plugin do you guys prefer or will be better? Back on CS:S I used ManiMod and it was the best in my opinion.
  17. Ugh, can't wait until this game is a bit more aged, they just rolled out another update that won't allow anyone to connect, updating the server now, should be fixed within 10 minutes or so.
  18. Trying to figure out how to change the default map on server restart for CS:GO. They have changed quite a bit in how the server settings work.
  19. Was just reading into the game a little more and I see there will be different game modes. Sounds like some modders may not have as much to do as Arms race will replace deathmatch mod and demolition will replace gungame mod. Global Offensive is planned to launch with Bomb Defusal, Hostage Rescue, and two new game modes called Arms Race and Demolition. These new modes are collectively referred to as "Arsenal mode" and are based on the popular gungame mod for Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Source. Unlike other game modes Arms Race is a deathmatch-based mode where each player is rewarded for each kill with a new weapon, with the first player to get a kill with every weapon in a predetermined set winning the game. Demolition is a round based mode that removes weapon and equipment purchasing, instead challenging players by giving a set of progressively weaker weapons for each kill. Global Offensive adds new weapons and equipment not seen in previous installments, most notably the Molotov cocktail which temporarily covers a small area in fire, making it impossible to pass through without taking damage.
