ARMA 3 Alpha is out!

ARMA is basically a simulation of actual combat. It isn't the same as the real thing but get's far closer then any other game. There aren't maps. It's all one GIANT map. In multiplayer you can set up different scenarios for your team... so on a map like this, the multiplayer capabilities are endless. The weapons are pretty real, the movement of the character and the things you can do are realistic, and the vehicles are awesome.

ARMA 2 was a little buggy, but ARMA 3 looks amazing so far.

The game play is slow, because... well actual real life combat is slow. This simulates that.

I've been waiting for this for such a long time. It isn't released, but they decided to release an Alpha version.

I played DayZ, a mod of Arma 2 and it is super realistic! I'm waiting for the DayZ game, which is supposed to be based off of Arma 3.

I'm waiting for that as well. 

But I like the real game a little more.
