That requires a separate program to change it from a .dem file to .mp4, .mov or .mpeg. To view this, you download it then drag it to your csgo folder and then launch CS:GO and type "play <name>.dem" in console and it plays the same.

well what I like to do is have a seperate folder called demos in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo

then launch the game and type "Demoui" then hit load and click on whichever one you want.
