WTFBBQ...

Recommended Posts

I'm presenting the following evidence below. I'm 100% sure this kid hacks. I've been playing a long time and even ran a server for a while. Up to you guys to decide his fate. He's #1 on the server right now, and I've heard numerous complaints including some from OSG and OSG-r members.

Puss banned him this evening. I spent a long time watching him for several maps, I've suspected him for awhile, and focused hard on it tonight, Puss did as well. Yes, he was cheating, he's just smarter than the average hacker so it was tough to be sure.

glad to see this finally happened. several of us have spec'd him when i was online. And he seems fishy but i never made a video to prove it. there are a few others that i have concerns about but will keep watching for now.

You can get their steam ID from http://osg.gameme.com/players/csgo, then Google it.

This can be very revealing about a player! You might find some players who are very good that have been banned but they're usually well known and have many people who defend them in the ban threads.

Also, this won't work if the guy just recently bought the game on a new Steam account. I'm always suspicious if I see a guy with a 50 million+ Steam ID who does really well. That's usually not possible in CS. When I used to run a server I would keep lists of Steam and Community ID's for suspected hackers. Over time, 9 out of 10 would eventually get VAC'd. There are a few very good players out there that do get unfairly banned quite often, but they are VERY few and far between.

Also I want to add that it wasn't WTFBBQ's score that made me suspect him, there were just too many "WTF was that?!" moments playing against him. His timing was just too good sometimes, it didn't make sense. You play long enough and you develop good BS detection, it's not just about score. ;)

I agree, it wasn't about the score although getting 30+ kills and dying <10 times on every single map every single time can be a giveaway that something is wrong.

It did have to do with his playstyle. He always knew where to go, he never got shot in the back, and he spent a lot of time camping in the back oddly staring at a wall. A truly good counter-strike player always has their crosshair trained on something relevant in case something pops out, especially in a 30 man pub where noobs seems to fall from the sky sometimes. His raw skills also didn't match up with what he was producing, he always knew where to be, but his aim was fucking atrocious, the guy sprayed and missed so many shots, he just always had to positional advantage.

Anyways, score one for the good guys.

I suspected him long time ago... First of all checked his Steam ID. Come on kid with 20 hours of GO and 400 hours CSGO and no hours in reg CS playing like a pro with kpd 3:1. Unreal. Then i thought u all know him and his reg so i decided not to say nething. People complain everytime I c a hacker : Bla bla bla u always suspect ne1 of hacking bla bla bla immigrant. So i was watching him till i can find a proof. How many hackers been banned "by me" i counted 5. Never was wrong. But with BBQ, really hard to tell. Only thing why i suspected was Pre Fire in mid dust2. Perfect spot to do the fake jump and boom AWP HS by WTFBBQ.

MJ all yr demos not showing nething sorry man. No radar, shitty sound - all those "walling" might b from radar or sound effects. Really cant tell.
Find the command list for Dead highlight and disable it.
